University of Toledo Crew is open to all UT students interested in the sport of rowing.

All skill levels are encouraged to particpate, from the novice to the most seasoned of rowers.  Come check us out in the fall.  Practice is everyday M-F at the Toledo Rowing Club boathouse, located on the Maumee River, in the heart of downtown.

Who does UT compete against?

 

We compete against crews from all across the area, including large collegiate clubs --

Ohio University, Ohio State University, Xavier, Cleveland State University, John Carroll, Case Western Reserve, and Eastern Michigan, just to name a few.

 

 

What does it cost to join UT CREW?

 

Right now our dues are a minimal $65 per season.  55 of those dollars cover the cost of our team membership to the Toledo Rowing Club boathouse.  This provides us with access to the facilities and certain equipment.  The remaining $10 provides you with a free UT Crew t-shirt.  Comparable collegiate crews charge their members upwards of $200 or more to join, so you're really getting a deal.

 

 

When is the rowing season?

 

Currently, UT competes only in the fall (Sept-Nov).  But we are hoping to add additional races in the spring next year.
